Provision of goods through the Local Welfare Assistance Scheme (Waiver)

Emergency circumstances The LWA provides a limited range of household goods to assist vulnerable people in genuine need to live safely in the community. The scheme is experiencing increased demand because of the impact of Covid 19. There is therefore a need to make a further short-term arrangement that will allow the scheme to continue to function and meet increased demand.
