Description

Central Swindon North Parish Council is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to design and deliver refurbishment works to two existing pavilion buildings: the Princess Elizabeth Pavilion at Moredon Sporting Hub and the Pembroke Gardens Pavilion in Moredon, Swindon. The project will modernise the buildings for year round council and community use, improve accessibility and internal layouts, upgrade building fabric and services to current standards, and address known asbestos and legacy infrastructure issues. Works are expected to include internal alterations, renewal of finishes, upgrades to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, thermal and acoustic improvements, and external repairs and decorations, together with associated asbestos removal and making good. The contract will be let as a single works package covering both buildings, with an estimated value of approximately £250,000. The anticipated construction period is from March 2026 to 1 December 2026, subject to agreement of the final programme.
