Management of Gloucestershire Welfare Support Scheme

1.1 Gloucestershire County Council is seeking a Provider to; ? Receive welfare support applications (strand 1) o Assess these applicants against set eligibility criteria o Allocate discretionary awards (furniture, white goods, essential household equipment and fuel / electricity tokens) ? Receive welfare support requests from Gloucestershire County Council workers or workers nominated by Gloucestershire County Council (strand 2) o These will not need to be assessed o Allocate discretionary awards (food delivery, fuel / electricity top up, furniture, white goods and essential household equipment) ? Ensure delivery of the welfare support awards ? predominately voucher and non-cash awards ? Analyse demand and manage budget ? Liaise with suppliers
