The combination of access to world-class research facilities and scientists, office and laboratory space, business support, and an environment which encourages innovation has proven a compelling combination, attracting start-ups, SMEs and large blue chips such as IBM and Unilever The National Satellite Test Facility (NSTF) is a new national facility for the environmental testing of complete satellites (up to 7 tonnes mass) being built at the Science & Technology Facilities Council's (STFC) Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire. This requirement is for the supply of an EMC measurement receiver and measurement software to be used for EMC testing of satellites and sub-assemblies within the NSTF.
