Fire Training

This notice is seeking expressions of interest from suitable suppliers for a forthcoming tender process to provide a qualified and competent person for the services of a Fire Safety Officer for University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. The dedicated officer is to provide services to the Trust on days to correspond with training, important meetings and vital fire safety work. Historically this has been between 13 - 18 days per month however this could be subject to variation. The appointed Fire Safety Officer (Fire Safety Adviser) will answer directly to the Trust Director of Estates and Facilities. The role of Fire Safety Officer will be required to work in conjunction with other operational roles such as health and safety, risk management, local security management specialist, emergency planning, back care specialist, training and development.
