Gallery Designer - Heritage Fund Programme

Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration is restoring and repurposing the New River Head industrial heritage site as the national centre for illustration, including a home for Quentin Blake's archive. We have recently been awarded a Development Grant by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (also known as the Heritage Fund or NLHF). This will fund a programme of work to develop our understanding of costs, resources, timeline and audience needs, enabling us to develop our application to apply for a full grant of £2.5million towards the project. We are looking for a brilliant designer to create a permanent gallery showing work from Quentin Blake's archive and to design showcases and furniture for our temporary exhibition galleries. Quentin Blake Centre champions art that is dynamic and diverse; we want our team to reflect that.
