Healthwatch Stockton

Healthwatch Stockton will be an effective, powerful and independent local voice for all aspects of adult and children's health and social care within the Stockton Borough and will be representative of the area's diverse communities. It will be a robust and credible organisation demonstrating that it has the appropriate level of skills and competencies required to deliver its functions to the highest possible level and to achieve the outcomes required. Healthwatch is the independent consumer champion for health and social care and promotes better outcomes for local people in health and social care. Healthwatch represents the collective voice of patients, service users, carers and the public to commissioners, service providers and local politicians. Healthwatch supports individuals to access information about services and signposts people wishing to complain to the appropriate agency. It liaises with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Healthwatch England to report local information.
