Homeless Support Service for Young People (including care leavers or looked after children)

This contract is for Homeless Support Service for Young People (including care leavers or looked after children). Durham County Council recognises the need for a holistic support model that will help to create a pathway of provision for young single males and females who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness. A person-centred approach is needed for those who would struggle to access accommodation without the help and assistance from support services. The Council is wishes to commission a support service to enable the Council to meet its statutory duties and respond to the accommodation needs of local young people aged 16-17 years, including Looked After Young People and Care Leavers (up to age 21years). The Service will provide low to medium levels of support.
