Description
BTP requires a media monitoring service. This is a crucial part of a 21st century press office. The ability to monitor mentions in the press is important for all organisations, but particularly for one which straddles two major industry areas (rail and policing) as well as 3 countries where we are frequently featured in niche and local publications. It is not possible to monitor all of this activity (and ensure accuracy) and to attempt to do so would necessitate a huge increase in headcount which BTP cannot afford. The opportunities provided by the restructure of our communications functions make this the ideal time to update our offering. The contract will include the provision of vital additional services such as media monitoring, stakeholder and political monitoring, alerts and breakdowns - as well as offering BTP vital support across Hansard, the press, be that print, online or broadcast and clear sight of developments across the stakeholder and political landscape - including think tanks.
