The requirement relates to collection of data from ports and shipping agents in order to produce National Statistics and meet our obligation to supply data to the EU. We are currently working with Digital Services to bring this work in-house, however the approval to proceed to public Beta status has been delayed and so a short continuation of the current arrangements is required to enable data collection to continue uniterrupted, for one or at most two months. At the supplier's request, this should be treated as a new requirement, rather than an extension of the existing work, with two elements for which the supplier has provided separate proposals: - continued hosting of the data collection website, for one (or if needed two) further months - additional telephone support, as required
