Repair, Refurbishment and/or Remanufacture of Challenger 2 Road Wheels

Babcock DSG Limited, acting as the agent for the UK Ministry of Defence, intend to award a single source contract for a period of 24 months plus 12 ,month option to BAE Systems, Global Combat Systems Ltd for the Repair, Refurbishment and/or Remanufacture of Challenger 2 Road Wheels, using the Negotiated Procedure without prior publication pursuant to Article 28(1)(e) of Directive 2009/81/EC (Regulation 16 (1) (a) (ii) of the Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations 2011) for technical and safety reasons. Th UK Ministry of Defence requirement is for the repair, refurblishment and/or remanufacture of Challenger 2 Road Wheels in accorance with the original equipment manufacturer specification, to A1 Standard.
