Description
Market Engagement Event - West Suffolk CCG, Ipswich and East Suffolk CCG and North East Essex CCG In line with Sir Bruce Keogh’s Urgent and Emergency Care Review, NHS North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group, NHS West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS Ipswich and East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCGs) are looking for a provider(s) to become a major force for integration and innovation within our Sustainability and Transformation Plan footprint from October 2017 onwards. To this aim, the CCGs hereby invite suitably qualified service providers to attend a market engagement event relating to the services below. Within scope of the services is NHS111 and Out of Hours General Practice covering all three CCGs, in line with Professor Willett’s vision for Integrated Urgent Care Hubs. However, all three CCGs would like to strongly link the development of the Integrated Urgent Care Hub to better Care Coordination throughout the system: •In the case of the two Suffolk CCGs this could include also incorporating professional and patient access to Community Health Services early within the lifetime of the contract, such that existing Community Health patients and referrers have access to the clinical expertise of the Integrated Urgent Care Hub, and in return the Integrated Urgent Care Hub would be able to call upon and coordinate appropriate planned and urgent community responses. Over the lifetime of the contract we would foresee the provider(s) working closely with the system to develop further links to or consolidation of other contact points such as those provided by the local authority, in-hours primary mental health and acute sectors. We also foresee that the Integrated Urgent Care Hub would use its position to innovate in the fields of telehealth and telemedicine. •In the case of North East Essex CCG, the scope would initially include NHS111 and Out of Hours General Practice but not direct access to Community Health Service, as this has recently been commissioned. The commissioners however strongly support a direction of travel whereby urgent and planned responses, both via telephone and face-to-face, are seamlessly integrated into the healthcare system. The format of the event will be a Presentation from the CCGs followed by a workshop session and the potential for questions and answers. Following the presentation, we are keen to make available individual 20-minute 1-to-1 slots with interested potential providers to answer more detailed questions and capture feedback and innovative concepts. The information gathered will be used to inform the CCGs’ service model and future procurement plan. The event will be held on 25th August 2016 afternoon; from 2pm. Registration is from 13:45pm.
