Description
A screening video will provide essential information to the public about the UK NHS screening programmes available. The vulnerable within the region and in the country, are less likely to participate in the screening programme, hence, have a lower uptake than the rest of the population. The video will act as a tool to engage with this cohort. The video will be targeted at those within the inclusion health group, who are most likely to face inequalities and barriers that deter them from participating in the screening programmes. The video will act as a tool to engage with this cohort, with the main purpose of encouraging participation. It will cover key information about the screening programmes including timeline for the screening, and it will address common myths and misconceptions around screening. Proposed groups to target: People with a Learning Disability, Transient population, LGBTQ+ and BAME.
