HMRC operates in an ever changing world. Our business drivers relate to the borders and tax strategies, global supply chain and we are looking for opportunities in post pandemic, post EU exit world. Our requirement for CDIO Innovation to exploit international crowd sourcing for business problems is aligned with HMRC's 4 core values, and innovation is a strategic objective enabler to 'Support wider government economic aims through a resilient, agile tax administration system'. Technical and digital opportunities have accelerated rapidly and our challenge is to keep pace and exploit emerging technology to make it easier and better to collect and distribute £. Using an innovation crowd sourcing platform will help HMRC create a culture of collaboration with strategic partners, the financial technology eco-system and gain access to solutions from the world's leading experts, researchers, scientists and start-ups. This enablement will accelerate innovation work and collaboration by ways of co-developing innovative solutions and crowd sourcing from an international and diverse community.
