Supply and Installation of Bathroom Adaptions and Associated Additional Works

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council) is looking to establish a framework for the Supply and Installation of Bathroom Adaption and Associated Works. The framework will operate a rotational system, with a maximum of 12 contractors being selected to join the framework. As this is a framework there is no guarantee of work or value of spend but it is the intention of The Council to require work to the value of approximately £1.7m per annum, divided across all successful providers. The project is funded by the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG), a capital grant paid from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) to local authorities in England to adapt older and disabled people's homes to help them to live independently and safely.
