Description
The Defence Munitions Commercial team (The Authority) has a potential future requirement for maintenance and support of CO2 canisters. The requirement is to provide maintenance support for CO2 canisters that are connected to the Fire Detection and Suppression Systems on site at Defence Munitions Beith, Ayrshire and Defence Munitions Gosport, Hampshire. The support will cover an annual inspection of all systems at both sites and also include the creation and updates of Written Schemes of Examinations (WSE) for the systems. The Authority also requires potential bidders to be able to repair, refill and replace CO2 bottles as and when required. Bidders must be fully compliant with the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 and with Regulation 8 of the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 in regard to Written Schemes of Examination. The requirement will likely be a 3 year contract with a further 2 years of options. Please note the period of work dates specified are subject to change.
