Description
The Authority wishes to award an Approved Provider List (APL) for High Needs Study Programme (HNSP) (“the Contract”). To access the High Needs Study Programme (HNSP), a young person must have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) The High Needs Study Programme is a person-centred programme which supports the young person to develop and progress, based on a clear understanding of how each person learns best, strategies that will help them achieve their goals, and the support they require within the learning environment. The three core learning pathways link directly to the SEN Code of Practice and the North Yorkshire SEN strategy. The HNSP is for young people to transition in adulthood and prepares them for their next steps.. Further information is contained within Volume 1 The Specification. The services are demand led and as such annual totals are dependent on that demand.
