Description
Specialist Employability Support (SES) is a new national provision, designed to help unemployed disabled adults to secure and sustain employment or self-employment. The programme focuses on helping those furthest away from the employment market, and for whom other provision is not suitable and offers an individually tailored combination of guidance, work placements, and work experience. This new provision features two main support options: • Specialist Employability Support (SES) - intensive, end-to-end employment provision (up to 2 years), and; • SES Start Back - a shorter-term provision (approximately 8 weeks) that works with disabled people to help them to prepare for other provision (DWP or non-DWP), where appropriate.
