Description
Cornwall Council, the lead partner of the Cornwall Music Education Hub (CMEH), seeks to contract a supplier to undertake School Engagement and Cluster Support as outlined in the delivery plan approved by The Arts Council. The CMEH are looking for a provider who can be a self-employed individual, or a named individual from an organisation. The individual will be responsible for working in conjunction with the CMEH Manager to ensure that CMEH is reaching all Cornish schools (includes special and short stay), challenge and support schools with developing the music curriculum, support schools in providing their pupils with the opportunity to learn an instrument, encourage schools to provide performance and ensemble opportunities, encourage/facilitate school to school support, creating/identifying appropriate resources to support schools' needs and deliver sessions directly to students with school staff. The provider will deliver to clusters of schools time-limited Music projects with specific outcomes, in line with the CMEH School Engagement Plan. Each project culminates in a performance opportunity for the participating schools, target schools increase engagement with CMEH, target schools increase participation in Music activity, School staff have increased confidence in delivering Music activity.
