Description
Public Health is seeking to procure point of care testing equipment for all commissioned Northamptonshire providers of NHS Health Checks (on the Council's Health Checks DPS - Dynamic Purchasing System) with a view to providing greater accessibility and uptake of the health check programme. The POCT service will be an intrinsic part of the delivery of the NHS Health Checks programme commissioned by Northamptonshire County Council (NCC). For the purpose of this specification and contract, point of care equipment is taken to include test machines and reagents for cholesterol and HbA1c and all other associated material. The service will be required from 1st April 2019 for an initial period of 2 years (up to 31st March 2021) with an option to extend for a further 1 year, taking the total contract term to a maximum of 3 years. Any extension will be agreed between the Council and the Provider(s). The deadline for completed Framework applications to be received on the LGSS eTendering Portal is 12:00noon on 14th January 2019.
