Description

SCC requires the provision of safe and age-appropriate accommodation for young people/young adults between the ages of 17 and 25 who have experience of harmful substance use. The Service will work with each individual and Surrey's Young People's Substance Use Service to develop a package of care to support the young person/young adult in their recovery from harmful substance use. This will include group work, one-to-one engagement, recovery and 'moving on' interventions and will give each young person/young adult the skills to live independently after leaving this service. The service shall provide a minimum of two beds per annum, with young people/young adults engaging for a minimum of three months / maximum of eighteen months.
