Rivers House, Bridgwater - Passenger Lifts

The project consists of Refurbishment and Recommissioning of two passenger lifts in the lift lobby area at Rivers House, Bridgwater. These lifts are approximately 32 years old, originally fitted within the building during its construction 1988/89. These two passenger lifts move from ground floor, through first and stop at second floor of the building and usually have a manufacturer's weight limit of 8 persons or 630kg. Over the past four years, difficulties and entrapment incidents have occurred making the lifts unreliable.
