The types of microscopes that may be supplied under the terms of the Framework Agreement and that are foruse in the said Operating Theatre and Outpatient departments are: Theatre Microscopes: — Ear Nose Throat (ENT); — Ophthalmic; — Neurological; and — Plastics and Maxillofacial. Outpatient Microscopes: — ENT; — Dental; and — Colposcope. Applicants must be able to supply the Microscope equipment as detailed in the evaluated product lines (seesection 2.18 of the Invitation to Tender document) in order to formally respond to this tender. This means thatany potential Applicant will be unable to submit a tender if they are only able to supply microscope-relatedconsumable items only. This Framework Agreement is for 24 months with the option to extend in incremental stages for up to a totalperiod of 24 months.
