Description

The scope of work is asset condition surveys to capture the condition of specified assets prior to, and on completion of, construction of the main tunnels. An asset condition survey will comprise a written and photographic record of existing cracking and the state of the finishes and structures. We have identified circa 30 assets that require their condition to be recorded. Expressions of interest are invited for the above opportunity. At this stage interested parties are asked only to complete the prequalification questions included herein; further details will follow thereafter for shortlisted companies. We are not accepting telephone enquiries at this time. The Silvertown Tunnel scheme (STT) will link East and West London from the North Greenwich area to the Royal Victoria Dock Area and will serve to reduce the current congestion at the Blackwall Tunnel. This involves construction of a 1.4km long, twin-bore road tunnel, accommodating large vehicles including double-deck buses. It will include a dedicated bus, coach and goods vehicle lane, enabling TfL to provide additional cross-river bus routes. 25yr contract consisting of a 5yr design and construction phase, followed by a 20yr O&M phase (from Permit-to-use date).
