Description
The Council has commissioned the services of an external HR consultancy firm to support the implementation of its pay and reward strategy. The scope of the services are to: • Support the Council in developing its approach to role definition, including the development of a new competency framework • Prepare new job families and role profiles based on the analysis and consolidation of existing job information • Undertake full job evaluation of new roles on behalf of the Council using a consistent, gender-neutral and legally robust methodology • Supporting the mapping of current employees to new role profiles • Support the Council in finalising its new pay structure and assessing the full financial implications based on the evaluation outcomes • Articulate and outline the opportunities for organisational change through the analysis of current structures and hierarchies • Provide knowledge and skills transfer to enable the Council to be self-sufficient in applying these methodologies to future changes
