GB-Colchester: Mercury Theatre - Demolition & Enabling Works (0157)

Colchester Borough Council (the Council) requires an experienced contractor to undertake Demolition works at the Mercury Theatre, Balkerne Gate, Colchester, CO1 1PT. The work shall comprise : Carry out demolition and clearance of Mercury Theatre Restaurant. All works as per Specification and with reference to drawings. Demo 1 and Demo 2. Demolition works to include breaking out of concrete slab. Works to breaking out and removal of concrete slab carried out with reference and requirement of Archaeological watching brief. Carry out demolition and clearance of Mercury Theatre shower block. All works as per Specification and with reference to drawings Demo 1 and Demo 2. Demolition works to include breaking out of concrete slab. Works to breaking out and removal of concrete slab carried out with reference and requirement of Archaeological watching brief. Carry out demolition and clearance of Mercury House. All works as per Specification and with reference to drawing Demo 2. Demolition works to include breaking out of concrete slab. Works to breaking out and removal of concrete slab carried out with reference and requirement of Archaeological watching brief. Works to demolition of Mercury House in accordance with Bat Method Statement There is no longer a requirement for Quiet Working and Changes to demo drawing number 3 (slightly additional hoarding / additional groundworks removal) have been introduced.
