Development of Technical Specification for Remote Monitoring Solution on behalf of NHS South West London ICB

2.1. SWL's virtual wards have been running for just over a year. Virtual wards are tech enabled, and the SWL model offers intermittent and continuous monitoring for patients who would otherwise be in hospital. The current contract for the tech enabled virtual ward is coming to an end, and The Virtual Wards Team will need to go through a procurement process to secure a future contract. To ensure the future solution is fit for purpose, and in line with requirements of the patients in SWL, the system is looking to develop a technical specification and do market engagement. This will not directly lead to a procurement but will ensure the background work to launch a procurement in the next FY is completed
