Description
Victoria Academies Trust is inviting tenders for the provision of contract cleaning services across its portfolio of 11 primary schools located in the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Birmingham, Walsall, and Worcestershire. The contract covers the full delivery of daily term-time and annual deep cleaning services, including the provision of all cleaning staff, supervision, materials, equipment, and quality assurance systems. The successful contractor will be required to supply a fully managed cleaning solution that meets the Trust's specification and standards, including TUPE obligations, safeguarding requirements, and adherence to relevant health and safety legislation. The service must be delivered outside of school hours (unless otherwise stated) and reflect site-specific access and layout needs. The anticipated contract start date is 1 December 2025 and will run for 3 years, with an option to extend for 2 further 1-year periods. The total estimated contract value exceeds the current threshold under the Procurement Act 2023. The service will be delivered on-site at each school location as detailed in the tender documentation. The contract will be awarded for an initial period of three (3) years, commencing on 1 December 2025, with the option to extend by up to two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each. These optional extensions may be exercised at the sole discretion of Victoria Academies Trust and will be subject to satisfactory performance, continued value for money, and the evolving operational needs of the Trust. Extensions will be considered based on: The supplier meeting or exceeding agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), The supplier's ongoing compliance with legal, safeguarding, and health & safety obligations, The Trust's strategic priorities and budgetary constraints. Each extension will be formally agreed in writing before the expiry of the initial or subsequent term.
