Description
This is a proof of concept (PoC) or discovery project, to test feasibility and inform more detailed requirements, prioritisation and roadmaps for a live terminology server infrastructure and services. Integral to which is to demonstrate the syndication of terminologies and dynamic interaction capabilities, using CSIRO's Ontoserver software. Ontoserver, provided by CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific & Industrial Research Organisation), is a clinical terminology software tool, this version allows for ontology search, look-up and query functions. On successful completion of this PoC, the intention is then to conduct another procurement for a live solution. A mini competition, between invited suppliers, was held at the beginning of 2018, given the below OJEU Threshold contract value (budget). CSIRO is an Australian federal government agency responsible for scientific research.
