Description

SCC have a range of databases in operation where over time the skills to adequately support them have diminished. SCC was seeking a contract that would allow the ICT team to provide a flexible arrangement to support these databases from regular monitoring and patching, ad-hoc support, annual upgrades, transformation work between database solutions and experience in migrating databases to the cloud. Lot 1 - Pro-active monitoring of our Oracle Database environment. Including regular patching and database refreshes to enable application upgrades. Experience of migrating Oracle databases to Azure IaaS or converting to Microsoft SQL database. Lot 2 - Microsoft SQL database support to provide cover for in-house staff in situations of absence or increase resources to meet a project timeframe. Lot 3 - Microsoft CRM 2011 database support to provide cover for in-house staff in situations of absence or increase resources to meet a project timeframe. *Lot 4 - Oracle Spatial database support to complete upgrades and provide ad-hoc expertise. *Lot 5 - Microsoft Access database expertise to solve business owners' issues and knowledge of converting these databases to Microsoft SQL or converting them in to Microsoft Power Apps. *NOTE: Lot 4 and Lot 5 were not awarded
