LUPC is tendering a national framework via the restricted process for Catering Outsourced Services on behalf of their Members and those of the other University Purchasing Consortia. Member Institutions of the following consortia will be able to use this Framework Agreement; London Universities Purchasing Consortium (LUPC) Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges (APUC) Higher Education Purchasing Consortium, Wales (HEPCW) North East Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC) North West Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC) Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC) A full list of the UPC's Member Institutions may be found at: http://www.apuc-scot.ac.uk/#!/links http://www.hepcw.ac.uk/members/ http://www.lupc.ac.uk/list-of-members.html http://www.neupc.ac.uk/our-members http://www.nwupc.ac.uk/our-members http://www.supc.ac.uk/about-us/our-members/our-members The Framework Agreement will be divided into two Lots: Lot 1: Outsourced Contract Catering Services (National) The lot includes onsite catering services for regular supply as a fully managed and delivered service across Members in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Core services include Refectory Services, Cafeterias , Student Meal Packages, Cafes and Coffee Shops, Grab and Go, Branded Franchises, Serviced Hospitality, Commercial and Corporate Events, and Licensed Bars. Lot 2: Office, Corporate and Event Catering (Greater London) The Lot includes all catering services provided to support the delivery of refreshments for corporate and commercial activities across Members in Greater London. The main focus for this lot is serviced hospitality and commercial and corporate events. Some Members may require additional catering services such as the provision of a cafeteria. Core Services include Serviced Hospitality, Commercial and Corporate Events (including Weddings), Private Dining, Staff Foodservice, and Licensed Bars. Please note that each Potential Provider may only bid for Lot 1 or Lot 2, they cannot bid for both Lots. A Potential Provider could be a single organisation or group of companies. In order to assist opportunities for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Greater London, as defined by the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics NUTS 1 Statistical Regions of the UK; UKI Greater London, only one organisation from a group of companies can bid for this Framework. A group of companies is defined as one where trading organisations have the same parent company or holding company. If a group of companies has several companies that meet the requirements of the lot, a bid for this Framework Tender should be under the parent company, holding company or a nominated lead from within the group. If a group of companies is successful in being awarded a place on the framework, then the group of companies can determine which of the companies within their group is best placed to meet the requirements of and bid for each call off contract
