Description
Places for London intends to procure a single supplier for the delivery of the Canning Town Retail Unit construction works up to a value of £700,000. This new contract is an enabler in supporting Places for London commitments, helping to realise the full potential of our estate and deliver sustainable, inclusive, and thriving places across London. The Canning Town Retail Unit project will create one new commercial unit in the Canning Town LU station ticket hall, converting existing operational rooms into a retail area. The scope of contract includes the build, testing and handover of the retail unit. The selected supplier will carry out the duties of the principal contractor and will transform several operational rooms into a single retail space with a glazed shopfront opening onto the public area within the main ticket hall of Canning Town station. This transformation will not only upgrade the existing services but also create a vibrant retail space.
