Description
Public Health England (PHE) awarded Contract to Walker Safety Cabinets Ltd for the provision of Formalin Vaporiser and Neutraliser System using Carbon and training in safe use of the equipment. Formaldehyde vapour is the recognised and biocidal agent and therefore often used in Fumigation process. However, due to Formaldehyde toxicity and its status as a known carcinogen a need for reliable neutralising system was identified as an urgent safety measure. The Formalin Vaporiser and Neutraliser Systems subject of this contract are: - Suitable for MBSC: I, II and III - Slim enough to fit through a typical 200mm high safety cabinet open front - Use a new canister of carbon for each fumigation - Use maximum of 30ml of Formaldehyde per MBSC - Meet Fumigation Standards: ISBN 0 7176 2034 4 & BS EN 12469:2000
