CBC-0561-Q-LP Refurbishment of Hatfield Crescent, play area Flitwick - AWARD

This is the Re-issue for previous tender CBC-0534-Q-LP. Request for Installation and repair to Hatfield Crescent Play area, Flitwick. Improvements to existing play area through the replacement and installation of play equipment and impact absorbing surface - enhancing the play experience for children up to the age of 14 years. This will be to create an area suitable for 3-6years plus an area for 6years + Companies must have consideration for inclusive play and the DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) regulations. Equipment guidelines • All playground equipment provided must conform to BS EN 1176 or subsequent replacements/amendments. • Equipment specifications must be provided as part of the tender. Safety Surfacing guidelines • Appropriate impact absorbing surfacing to be provided and installed in compliance with BS EN 1177 Grass mat preferred. Post Several designs/quotes can be submitted The tender is to be used to select the play equipment provider; Individual pieces of equipment may change. All works, including preliminary works, removal, installation, surfacing and safety to be carried out within a budget of between £28,000 - £33,500.
