Request for Quotation to Install a Flood Relief Pipe on a Public Highway at the Willows Lydney.

Forest of Dean District Council is inviting competent contractors to submit quotations for the work to install a flood relief pipe on a Public Highway. The work predominantly involves work on the public highway using chapter 8 signing and guarding, which will include advance warning signs (to be positioned on site one week in advance of the work taking place) and long delay signs ( 2) to be used during the installation of the work. The current intention (based on utility information and traffic counting) is to NOT use a formal road closure. The work is expected to commence in June 2016 and be completed during June 2016.
