Description
Repair and maintenance services, Spares and Post Design/Technical Services of Main Propulsion Gearboxes, Small Marine Gearboxes, Voith Schneider and other Propulsors. Ships. MSS/105 - Future Transmissions has the objectives detailed below: 1. To ensure the continued ability for the Fleet to construct and sustain maritime operations around the Royal Navy's 3 strategic capabilities; Continuous at Sea Deterrence (CASD), Carrier Strike (CS) and Littoral Manoeuvre (LitM). Availability of all Master Equipment's (Large Gearboxes, Small Gearboxes, Voith and other Propulsors) to be maintained at 95% across Surface ships and Submarines; 2. To increase the availability for current Master Equipment by minimising the numbers of Demands Past Required Delivery Date (DPRDD) and Orders Past Delivery Date (OPDD); 3. To meet the requirements within the Internal Business Agreement (IBA) agreed between Marine Systems Support (MSS) and Naval Command (NC); 4. To meet all Health & Safety policy requirements including JSP 430 and Ships SEMS
