Hybrid Governance Effectiveness Review for Keele University

The contract covers the delivery of a hybrid Governance Effectiveness Review for Keele University by Advance HE. The scope includes governance surveys, stakeholder interviews, committee and Council observations, selective document and evidence reviews, and an assessment against the updated CUC Governance Code. The purpose of the contract is to independently assess the effectiveness of Keele University's governance arrangements, identify areas for improvement, evaluate governance assurance processes, and benchmark progress against previous governance review outcomes. The contract commenced on 13 April 2026 under Contract Reference 523389 and relates to the completion of the Governance Effectiveness Review project and associated reporting activities. The review will provide Keele University with independent expert feedback, governance benchmarking, strategic recommendations, and assurance regarding the effectiveness of its governance structures, processes, and compliance with sector governance expectations and emerging CUC Code requirements.
