Description
A contract was awarded to support the teaching of Functional Skills in maths and English. As part of the Functional Skills Reform Programme, the Foundation commissioned a set of new materials to support the current revised draft subject content. This subject content has formed part of a further consultation in autumn 2017 and expectation is it will be finalised in early January 2018. In the meantime, these new materials have the potential to support delivery of the current Functional Skills at all levels. The Foundation sought a delivery partner to develop training to use these materials to improve practice and roll this training out across the sector, adapting to different contexts for learning. This training complements the current maths and English Pipeline, and links to the Foundation's online modules to support personal skills.
