Remote Controlled Skip Movers

Purchase of GAPO GA16 equipment to move RO-RO containers via remote control and thus release the pressure on the transport functionality across the RHWS network. The RHWS are currently hiring two GAPO machines which are being used to undertake container exchanges. The hire of the machine has proved successful with the efficient, effective and safe exchange of containers without the need to divert HGVs from their planned journeys.
