Description

This framework agreement is to provide Staffordshire County Council with an agreed schedule of rates for the renewal of windows, doors, storey height frames and curtain walling systems including all associated works, on County Council owned properties throughout the whole county of Staffordshire. The portfolio is non domestic properties. The work will generally consist of providing a responsive maintenance service for carrying out a comprehensive service to replace windows, doors, storey height frames and curtain walling systems to what will be predominately single storey buildings with there being occasional two and three storey buildings. These works will have been identified as requiring repair through condition surveys and asset management plans. Individual projects will include all labours and associated works, perimeter protection, full scaffolding, site compounds, welfare facilities and waste management. It should be noted that most Staffordshire County Council properties including schools and corporate buildings that will fall within this framework are occupied properties and there will be a great emphasis placed on site health and safety issues. Projects will normally range between £10,000 and £50,000 in value.
