Description
To prepare a Masterplan option study for site PLY7 (Colin Campbell Court) allocated in the Plymouth and South West Devon Joint Local Plan (JLP) and adjoining land (Frankfort Gate South). A Second Part of the Commission seeks to extend the brief to the north of Frankfort Gate, forming the land bounded by Western Approach to the west and Cornwall Street as far as the Market Way. The extent of the wider masterplan and the two distinct areas north and south of Frankfort Gate are shown on the plan below. The team should be led by a Master Planner / Urban Design Consultant, but include transport engineers, property consultants, cost consultancy and local real estate agency advice.\r It is our ambition for an exciting and dynamic mixed use, residential led new quarter for the city building upon the best in sustainable design with a true focus on health, wellbeing and the creation of a unique urban living environment for the City. Therefore the team must have demonstrable experience of bringing forward mixed-use schemes, in particular higher density residential, within challenging city centre environments. It is also important that the development strategy should be deliverable as well as aspirational.
