Provision of Home Care in Salford

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust is undertaking a competitive procurement exercise, under the Light Touch regime' of the Public Contract Regulations 2015, with a view to establishing contracts with five (5) neighbourhood providers of Home Care Services. Approximately £5.9 million is spent on Home Care Services in Salford each year, with more than 17,000 visits delivered to almost 1,000 clients. The new neighbourhood contracts will ensure that people have timely access to high quality home care which is person-centred to the needs of the individual and has the intention of enabling providers to develop knowledge of the local community and assets.
