Institute of Export and International Trade (IOE&IT) Memberships for English Regions

Professionalising staff in trade is an important part of the Department's upskilling work. Membership with IOE&IT has a number of core deliverables. It is a recognised and accredited organisation and community geared specifically to upskilling members in exports and international trade with access to content, webinars and other relevant information. The International Trade Advisor network (in the English Regions Directorate), as part of performance management and development of the business facing teams of ITAs, uses the Continuous Personal Development component that IOE&IT offers as part of membership. Staff record participation of IOE&IT learning programmes on a profile and this forms part of their continuous development. Payment for CPD is not part of this SSA but provides access to the Learning &Development suite provided by IoE&IT.
