Wychavon District Council is inviting Quotes from potential suppliers for the provision of a research project into the `Impact of Housing Growth in Rural Areas'. This research project is to provide the Council with an improved understanding of the impacts of housing growth, both negative and positive, in respect of; whether the council is doing enough to support the delivery of housing in the rural parishes, the suitability for the new occupants to meet their housing needs, how this new housing growth affects community cohesion, the impact for the local economy and the sustainability of the community and parish where the housing growth has taken place. The outcomes of the research and any best practice recommendations will inform the Council in consideration of it's operational arrangements, strategic planning and decision making.
