Description
Bradford Council is seeking tenders from General Building & Construction Contractors who are interested in gaining approval onto a framework agreement for Renovation and Disabled extension works. Works will usually be in occupied, domestic premises (usually owner occupier or privately rented homes) at different individual addresses across the Bradford District. Occasionally there may also be the need for one off works at Council/Privately owned unoccupied premises but these will not be very frequent. This framework will be used to deliver works for clients who have signed up to use the Housing's Agency Service. The purpose of the Agency Service is to organise the assistance/grant works and support the client through the whole building process, including supervision and inspection, during and at completion of the works. The Contractor's role will be to undertake the necessary building/renovation works. Contractors MUST be able to carry out all items of work and complete all elements of renovation / extension / adaptation specification whether this be by having all their own operatives or by subcontracting for elements such as gas, electricity, etc.
