Tender for Measured Works to cover capital and reactive works at West Cumbria Hospital, Hensingham, Whitehaven, CA28 8JG Projects included specifically within this tender The Phase 1b works which comprise: These projects provide for the decanting of Blocks A, C, and D for their ultimate demolition. The refurbishment works that are likely to be undertaken through the measured term framework are as follows: - The Henderson Suite (Chemotherapy) - 60 person office refurbishment - Pre-Assessment - Staff Change - EBME - Bed Maintenance Involves the strip out, and then refurbishment of a linac bunker, and creation of a newly refurbished clinical area with extended control room. The existing building is still occupied although the area will be handed over for the Contractor to fully isolate and segregate the areas of work. The project involves the removal of all existing soft strip items, removal of some partitions (non loadbearing) and then reconfiguration of the area with newly located services (electric, water, above ground drainage, data, fire alarm etc.). All works will be carried out under the control and supervision of a qualified and competent site manager who also carries a first aid certificate.
