Description

Wiltshire Council children's social care services needs the ability to spot purchase from a framework agreement of suitable providers where independent expertise is required and to cover peaks in workload. This includes specialist forensic and relationship testing. 2. Services required Specialist forensic tests including but not limited to: o DNA testing for paternity (including sampling and collection where appropriate). In most cases this will be for 2 adults and 1 child, or 1 adult and 1 child. o Paternity test will include an analysis provided for the court. o Drug and alcohol testing (including sampling and collection where appropriate) - this can take place in pre-proceedings or in proceedings. This will include but not be limited to drug testing for the following main groups:  Amphetamines  Methamphetamines  Benzodiazepines  Cannabinoids  Cocaine  Mephadrone  Methadone  Opiates  Ketamine Drug testing is to be done through a hair strand test. Alcohol testing will include a hair strand test as well as liver function, CDT and full blood count. Drug and alcohol tests will include a full expert court report. The expert may also be required to attend court either in person or via video link.
