Description
Cherry Tree Close is a mental health rehabilitation and recovery unit, providing assessment, care and treatment to 23 service users located on the Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust's Kingsway Site, Derby. The single storey accommodation, in an open, relaxed, tree-lined environment, comprises of five single sex, self-contained bungalows for either four or five service users. An administration office is located in the centre of the Close. The works comprise the extensive and safe removal of existing vinyl flooring throughout the bungalows including disposal and the replacement of the flooring coverings with Altro vinyl flooring products. The extent of replacement is approximately 750 SqM. To be considered for the tender process, potential contractors must show that they have experience of working in NHS mental health 'live' ward areas due to the sensitivity and risks to all parties in the rehab environments.
