Workshop Practice Training Course

The School of Engineering (SoE) undergraduate engineering courses have been ranked in the top ten, combining development of core scientific knowledge, with a practical approach, to offer transferable skills required to succeed in a range of careers. The SoE have a requirement for an engineering workshop practice course for our undergraduate engineering students, to operate a short, intensive course for approximately 500 to 600 first year students in the period following the University's summer examination session and just before the end of the summer term - typically the first two weeks of June.
