Description
Works on Bar Street include: • Removal of all street furniture to off-site storage or tip • Excavation and disposal, or recycling of footway paving blocks & bedding to the specified design depth within the site boundary • On-site identification, excavation and disposal of soft spots • Reconstruction of the street to finished surface level including raising, lowering & where appropriate renewal of existing service covers to the new finished levels • Laying block paving on a type 1 sub-base & sharp sand bed • Taking up of existing gullys and lining of drains and put back gullies where appropriate • Kerbing works • Collection of some materials or items of street furniture stored from the Employer's storage location Works on Aberdeen Walk include: • Removal of all street furniture to off-site storage or tip • Excavation and disposal, or recycling of paving flag and mono block bedding to the top of the concrete base slab within the site boundary • On-site identification, excavation and disposal of damaged areas of the concrete base slab and reconstruction or repair of areas identified and/or removed • Reconstruction of the carriageway through the scheme in bituminous bound material from the concrete base slab to finished surface level including raising or lowering existing service covers & where appropriate renewal of existing service covers to the new carriageway finished levels • Laying stone paving flags & channel blocks on a mortar bed in footway areas including raising or lowering existing service covers & where appropriate renewal of existing service covers to the new footway finished levels • Collection of some materials or items of street furniture stored from the Employer's storage location Works on Newborough include: • Removal of all street furniture to off-site storage or tip • Excavation and disposal, or recycling of footway paving flags & bedding to the specified design depth within the site boundary • On-site identification, excavation and disposal of soft spots • Reconstruction of the street to finished surface level including raising, lowering & where appropriate renewal of existing service covers to the new finished levels • Laying stone paving flags & blocks on a mortar bed or sharp sand bed (as detailed in the plans) in footway areas including raising or lowering existin
